In order to become a federation member, an organization applies for membership in writing by an official representative of the organization. The membership application also provides means for registering an administrative contact – a person (one or more) who represents the organization while interacting with the federation operator. The administrative contact can appoint additional technical contacts. The technical contacts are responsible for implementation of components and metadata submission.

Entity Registrations

Any request for entity addition, change or removal from federation members needs to be communicated from or confirmed by their respective registered representatives (once established), i.e.

  • Appointed Administrative Contacts as filled in the federation membership agreement
  • Technical Contacts appointed by respective Administrative Contacts

Communication of change happens via E-Mail to the federation operator (at safeid@sanet.sk), with signed email (S/MIME, OpenPGP) strongly preferred.
